You will be able to successfully complete many different machining operations from screw cutting and turning large or irregular objects at a slow 27RPM to machining with tungsten carbide tools at 2100RPM. With the large range of accessories you will be able to complete operations such as : turning, boring, milling, facing, screw cutting, gear cutting, drilling, parting, etc.

A Myford will last you a long time. With a hardened head stock spindle, and hardened ways, a Myford will last a long time. Spare parts are available all the way back to 1946. Myford lathes have good resale value.

A Myford is great machine to use. Fitted with a counter-shaft clutch it will stop in a flash (Great for screw cutting in a confined area). The quick change dials make it easy to machine accurately. The lead screw hand wheel allows precise movement of the saddle by hand.
